Print Mounting and Framing Suggestions

How to Order

Select the size you require from the drop down menu. The print size is the image size. Please view the ‘Sizing’ tab below for the finished print size including the border.

Select your colour from the swatch chart.

Add your print to your shopping basket and either ‘Proceed to Checkout’ or ‘Continue shopping’.

If you continue shopping a delivery charge will be added for any additional items you purchase. Prints will be delivered separately and will be delivered free of charge.

Prints have a 7 – 21 day delivery. All other items on our website will be delivered within 2-10 days.


The prints are available in different sizes and formats, e.g. Landscape, square or both. You can check the size options for each print from the drop down menu at the side of the print image. The sizes quoted are the actual image size with the total print size, including the border, shown in brackets.


We would suggest placing a mount around your print when framing it. When we frame our Landscapes we use a ‘black core’ mount. This is a mount that is black on the inside, so when the aperture is cut and removed, a black edge is revealed. The black edge creates a thin border around the Landscape image and enhances the finished look of the picture.


We have tried to keep the print sizes suitable to fit ‘off the shelf’ picture frames, with the exception of a few prints, which will need a bespoke frame. However, you may decide a bespoke frame is what you prefer. We would recommend taking your print to a framer, especially if you don’t have a lot of experience placing pictures into a frame. When we have tried it, we find that dust particles are always attracted to the glass and any attempt to remove them creates more static and more dust. At this moment in time, we are not able to offer a framing service but we are happy to pass on the details of our framer if you require them.

Print Colours

We are offering a wide range of colour choices to fit in with most interior colour schemes.

Selecting colours from a computer screen isn’t always accurate, we all have different screens and settings and colours vary on every computer. Colours on a computer screen are usually set in RGB, so colour you see is made up from 3 colours, red, green & blue. When we create your print, we print with 8 ink colours, so the prints will look much brighter.

If you are not sure what colour to choose, you can order a swatch card to match against your new or existing interior decoration. We have kept the cost of the swatch cards to a minimum. There are 7 colour swatch cards. Each swatch card features 6 colours. The cards are printed with the same pigment inks and onto the same cotton we use for your finished prints.


Prints will be rolled and sent in a tube by Royal Mail or a courier service. This will be dependent on size. Delivery for digital prints is free of charge. Delivery times may vary depending on demand but we aim to deliver your print within 7 – 21 days. There will be times when delivery will be sooner. You will receive an email notification to say your order has been dispatched.


As prints are produced to order to customer specification, we are not able to accept returns unless the print is damaged upon delivery. Your print will be sent in perfect condition. If the tube containing the print is damaged in transit, please check the print inside on delivery before signing for it. If the print is damaged in any way, you can refuse to accept it and it is returned to sender but please state why you have refused to accept the delivery. Alternatively you can sign for the print but write ‘Damaged’ next to your signature. If you can take a photograph of the damage straight away and email it to us at: it will enable us to look into it as quickly as we can.

We would also ask you to return the print to us at: The Art Rooms Ltd. Salts Mill, Victoria Road, Saltaire, BD18 3LA, Shipley, West Yorkshire. We will order a replacement as soon as we receive the damaged print.

We will not take responsibility for any damage that occurs after the print has been delivered and signed for, without a reasonable explanation and supporting photographic evidence of the damage. 

Bespoke Options

If you would like anything different to our current print offering, we will quote for this on a bespoke basis. We will add an extra charge for the time we spend making changes to artwork, colour etc. This will normally be charged at £50.00 per hour. Please email us at:
